Lately, I began to notice that the quality of model cars made of diecast metal has improved greatly, and many of the manufacturers have begun to produce models from my childhood era as "classic cars" (oh well, I'm not so young any more).
Thus I began my collection in late 2007. These are not exotic cars or supercars, but those that were typical to Malaysian roads in the early seventies. Like many schoolboys, I was one to love cars and knew almost all types of cars that were being driven on the local roads. My memory of these cars is still quite good.
I chose to collect 1/43 scale models because they're not too large like 1/18 but have very good detail compared to 1/64 or the tiny 1/87 ones.
